The Olde Barn Hotel at Marston scooped an England Excellence Award the most prestigious award in the East Midlands for tourism businesses. Winning a silver award for business tourism Patrick Hunt Managing Director said “This is the fifth consecutive year that our amazing team has managed to deliver excellence. Competition in the region was the toughest ever and entrants were up 13% this year. I am very proud of our team and in a market place dominated by big brand names it demonstrates that there is still room for quality focused independent operators.
Open to tourism businesses across the East Midlands, a total of 16 awards were presented at the Athena in Leicester on the 8th October to those businesses that have excelled in providing a first class experience for visitors.
