Group Fitness Class Descriptions

Available to over 16's

Pilates & Stretch: Pre booking required - Low to Medium intensity class
Pilates is an exercise method designed to elongate, strengthen and restore your body balance and co ordination. Focusing on specific individual areas whilst integrating the whole body, helping to restore it to an optimum muscular and skeletal function.

 

Core Stability - Medium to High intensity class
This exercise class is to effectively recruit the trunk musculature and to control the lumber spine during movement. A twenty minute session works on both the individuals’ abdominals and back muscles

 

Circuits - Medium to High intensity class
Circuit training is an excellent class to improve mobility, strength and stamina.
Each exercise is performed to either a set amount of repetitions or time before moving on the next station.
 

Freestyle Pilates & Balance: Pre booking required - Low to Medium intensity class
Another version of the popular Pilates style class. Here you’ll find a slightly higher tempo to the transitions into the various moves along with some “Core” stability balance moves. 
 

 

Aqua Fit - Low to Medium intensity class
Suitable for all abilities and those individuals who require rehabilitation as your body weighs less in water.
Improves the fitness of your heart and lungs, tones the body but most of all its fun.
 

Total Body Conditioning - Medium intensity class
We work from head to toe conditioning and toning the whole body working all major muscles groups. An all over workout for any individual …. at any fitness level.
 

Boxer Circuit  -  Medium to High intensity class
A circuit based boxing class using different stations to tone, improve cardio vascular and giving an all over body workout. Uses gloves, pads and freeweights.

 

Junior Gym - Come on Kids! More Cardio, Less Lardio.
For children aged between 11 and 16 years that want to make an early start towards a healthier lifestyle.
Children can have supervised use of the cardio vascular equipment. Why not train as a family?
